I don't know how many other people here play Halo, but I do. I finally bought an X-Box 360 last night and got Halo 3. I played it straight through and just beat it. And since I haven't been to bed I called out of work too. Anyone else play?

I played the first Halo and liked it a lot, but not enough to overcome my Battlefield 1942 obsession at the time.
In terms of the Xbox, I don't like FPS on consoles. I need a keyboard and mouse. Unfortunately, I've barely played any FPS for a while due to...pain. The only reason I don't have carpel tunnel is because I stopped playing marathon sessions with those games (that plus an ergonomic keyboard for typing).
I'm a little biased against sci-fi multiplayer FPS (Unreal Tournament, etc.) because I think there are too many unbalanced one shot, one kill weapons and an emphasis on memorizing all the camping positions on every map. I prefer the WWII era games (although I still think it's too easy to be a sniper in Call of Duty).
That said, in terms of the storyline mode, I do think Halo is great fun.

I can get about half way through on Heroic, I get my ass HANDED to me by the flood and the drones. I mean without fail. Did you ever see the Cory Miller Halo 2 run?

Cody Miller, not Corey, my bad. Cody Miller is in the Guinness Book of World Records for his Halo 2 speed run. He beats Halo 2 on Legendary, in 3:16:28 without dying once.

If you haven't already, you should seriously consider getting XBox Live so you can play online. It is sweet online, but also more addicting! One time I got two 'exterminations' on the same round, and then I got a 'kilimanjaro.'
