And, Heide had made a comment about hating to offend people. The way I look at it is this. You can't please everybody - not in a million years. You can go out of your way to be nice and polite to everyone, but you'll only end up getting it in the ass.
So, screw everybody. If they don't like what you say, or do, or where you choose to
I used to call certain things gay to as a negative comment - but... I think I just grew out od it when I learned how to say "That sucks shit..."

I told him that when we first were getting to know each other, I thought his Oasis fandom was "kinda gay" but that I realized later that he also likes plenty of other good music, so my worries about our compatibility were alleviated. His reaction to this was to go full tilt complex and start throwing out his Oasis cds, and then post this ridiculous, self-serving thread.

The best way to express my feelings about the beastie boys, would be to do so with a silent "Smilie Montage".

I certainly wouldn't start throwing out cds I love. That's all I'm sayin.

Yeah, uh, you need to read this post right now.
No, seriously.

But I read somewhere that listening to them will make you gay.
p.s. is it even possible to be "half-gay"?

That would make sense. But then, I guess if you were always the "pitcher", and never the "catcher", would that be half gay?

I have a confession. When I was a kid I was really into Elton John. Years later I found out he was gay, thing is I stopped liking him. It wasn't a thing where I said to myself thats it no more Elton John....I just stopped liking him as an artist. I guess I felt misled by his music.
Bernie Taupin notwithstanding, the words sung By Reginald White took on a new meaning. Now he wasn't singing of the woman who would become his wife in "The One" but about the man who would become his husband. I can't relate. Same with George Micheal (my gadar was very off back then).

Until he walks along the beach
And sees his future in the water
A long lost heart within his reach"
