Like Grunter here gets offended.
I never said I was offended, not on here anyway. It's just a word that I am going to try to use less frequently and point out that it might offend some people (rightfully so).

Cris,
You'd be gay if you told me you liked Elton John for the past 20 years.
Why would it be more gay to like Elton John? Because he is gay?
Most songwriters, even the best have only a few years where he or she is going to be producing top-notch material. After that stroke of genius passes, most songwriters write new songs that sound a lot like their old songs or just play the same hits over and over and over again. I was not an Elton John fan until I saw him in concert with only a piano (no back-up band) about 10 years ago. He was one of the best performers I have ever seen. That is not easy to pull off when you don't have anyone backing you up. He didn't have a light-show or explosions or anything. Well he did have a video screen showing scenes from the
Lion King when he sang those songs and that was sort of gay (OOPS!)
