So I am goign to say we recruit Deb next. And if I survive the day....then we all vote out Dave.

I have a feeling I'm not going to make it, and I was so confident in the beginning. boo hoo. If i don't make it, continue to fight the fight my children. You all can still win.

Just a reminder to everyone. If the Mother Alien dies, the rest of you are still able to try to win, you just won't be able to recruit more aliens from the crew. If you end up outnumbering the crew, you'll win.

Question:

If I lynch grunter tonight, does his last infection stil go through?

I can pretend to AFK. Just don't want to reply to Dave's last post unless it's a vote change onto grunt.

By last infection, do you mean the infection order that he sends out tonight?

I have all kinds of questions about the mechanics of this game, and the two people I consider to be experts can't be asked, since they're both in the game. So I'll just have to wing it.

Given that thegrunter would have had to have lain an egg in preparation for the N3 infection, then, yes, the infection of Deb will go through as planned. If thegrunter ends up getting lynched, and Deb is infected N3, there will only be the three of you as of N4 (assuming that none of you are lynched D4).

If Chad is lynched D3, OH will be the one to carry out the infection of Deb.

This assumes, of course, that Deb is not Ripley. If Deb is Ripley (and thegrunter is lynched D3), then Chad will die N3, leaving OH to try to sway the lynch vote in order to win. If Deb is Ripley (and Chad is lynched D3), then OH will die N3, leaving thegrunter to try to infect more people in order to win.

OK, cool.

We're in a very bad spot as it is. The cop is WK. Dave is Ripley. Mal and Dave have been "cleared" by WK.

Yucky.

If I leave my vote on Chad, we lose an infected player for tomorrow and BOTH grunter and I look terrible.

If I move over to grunter, Chad is off the hook as the MA and I look a million times better.

I actually had a good time playing this game, and it's not over, but it's extremely unlikely that Dave is not going to win. I didn't pay enough attention to the idea that Ripley needed to be lynched in order to be killed. But, I did tag that it was Dave! For that I feel successful!!! Next time, the aliens need to band together, figure out who is Ripley and get Ripley lynched ASAP. It's the only way to win. Looks like I've gotta come up with an epitaph. Good luck...try and get a few more townies lynched at least. Good Luck!
