The thing I hate about this game is that the more I look at the situation and try to come to a decision about who is mafia & who isn't, I start seeing all kinds of options where the person that I'm fairly positive is not mafia actually is the criminal mastermind behind the whole thing.

Malfouka is experienced enough at this game that I could see her being mafia, and purposely voting differently than Cheese Man just to throw everyone off.

For that matter, it could be mango or adam in cahoots with Cheese Man.

I'm fairly sure I'm right with selecting jeckles, though.

Well, in my defense, I had two people on board with me to vote to lynch you, one of them was Cheese_Man. Once he jumped aboard that plan I was fairly certain he was dirty so I changed my vote. If I was mafioso I would've known you were innocent and wouldn't have changed a thing.

It's kind of a toss up as far as Jeckles and Otto. On the bright side (for us), we can't really lose at this point. It's 5 - 1 and I do believe we have it narrowed down to two. Granted, one of us will be killed tonight, but in the end the regular folk will prevail. I just hope we vote right the first time. I still think Otto is our guy.

I don't know.

I agree that it's highly likely that it's either Jeckles or Otto. If there was a real cop, I think they would've stepped forward and called Otto out for lying by now (assuming it wasn't Deb or Chad or Bacon)

Unvote Otto

Vote to lynch: Jeckles

Current tally:

Adam - 1
Jeckles - 4
Otto - 1

Sorry for missing most of this. Work sucks. Mango will vouch for that.

This doesn't change anything I guess, but still I don't believe Otto is the cop. The timing of his announcement makes no sense. If he is the cop he's the worse cop we've ever had. And taking into account the BG played cop, that's saying something.

Wait, what do you mean you don't believe he is the cop? He's implying that, as the cop, he has investigated you and you are guilty. If you're innoncent, shouldn't you KNOW he's not the cop? You sound like you're still unsure as to whether he's telling the truth about being the cop. I don't mean to be a negative nellie, but this makes you seem guilty as all hell. If someone were to come out and say "I'm the cop and I investigated Adam and he's guilty" I would know for sure that they, at the very least, were not the real cop. What gives? I trusted you man! :(

But he never came out and said he investigated me.

I'm not buyin it.
And by the way I'm the cop so I know what I'm talking about.
And I'm not lying even though Jeckles will say that I am.

I hear the implication loud and clear (it's the number one reason I don't believe him.) But somehow I can picture him investigating someone else, finding them innocent, voting for me because everyone else is and then outing himself.

Maybe that's just me.

Sorry I haven't been here very much guys.
I have a crap-load of homework every night and the computer is in my parents room so I can't very well
stay up very late having full out conversations with people.
As for my reasoning:
I investigated Jeckles on the third day.
On the second day I didn't have time to investigate someone,
wait for the response and then vote.
So I was voting blind.
That's the only reason I voted for Deb.
Yes I did investigate Jeckles and he is as guilty as Bill Clinton.
Hopefully that covers all the questions.

Now I know he's lying about being the cop. And I suspect he is lying about the homework.

Does that really qualify as a thought?

I'm gonna stick with jeckles. Otto is first to be lynched on Day 4 if we're wrong.

i'm sticking with Jeckles though i completely agree with Mono ("The thing I hate about this game is that the more I look at the situation and try to come to a decision about who is mafia & who isn't, I start seeing all kinds of options where the person that I'm fairly positive is not mafia actually is the criminal mastermind behind the whole thing....").

I'm still kicking myself for the lack of a "vote ends once the majority vote is cast" rule.

Day ends Thurs. 6pm EST.

Investigations, protections, hits please.

WITH the rule, jeckles would've been dead two days ago.

WITHOUT the rule, he'll be dead tomorrow.

It doesn't seem fair.
