[monogodo]

Day 1 has begun.

It was a beautiful Monday when monogodo walked home from work for luch. His wife had the week off, so she was home to cook for him. Since it was such a nice day, they decided to go up to their 9th floor rooftop patio and grill out bratwurst. As they were enjoying the view of construction at the Mercantile building across the street, 2 men wearing Wrangler jeans and Justin boots came sauntering onto the patio.

"What're y'all cookin', damnyankee?" the first cowboy asked.

"Brats," monogodo replied.

"Brats? That don't sound like sumthin' any self-respectin Texan would eat. Whar exactly are y'all from?" inquired the second roper.

"I'm from Wisconsin, my wife's from San Antonio," answered monogodo.

"WesCAHNsin, you say? Damnyankee was right. We don't take to your kind around here," said the cowboy, as he suddenly grabbed monogodo by the shoulders.

Before Mrs. monogodo could do anything, both of the cowboys had grabbed ahold of monogodo and hurled him over the edge, plunging him to his death 9 stories down.

They then looked at Mrs. monogodo and said, "Let that be a lesson to ya. The Republic of Texas doesn't cotton to Yankee carpetbaggers 'round these parts."

And with that they were gone.

The townspeople heard monogodo's scream as he fell to his gruesome death. They knew that two of them were hunting down the non-Texans, so as to help the Republic of Texas break off of the United States and be restored to its illustrious glory as an independent nation. Now they wondered which among them were crazy separatists.

They had one thing in their favor, though. They each owned a firearm with one shot. The Republic of Texas would have a hard time taking out the town.

I always start with a vote to lynch Adam, and his less than enthusiastic retort makes me believe he doesn't care all that much this game. I had truthfully forgotten Otto was in the game, and once he chimed in, I remembered who I wanted to lynch.

I have my own ideas on why some people have lynched me but go ahead twits, you'll be lynching a townsperson.
