Sorry I forgot to make a new thread for Day 3. Here are the last two posts from me and Chad.

Bacon, Meathe are definite to frame, I think. Who's the third? Deb? WK? Do we need to propose a third? I suggest that Bacon-Meathe tandem should be enough to get one of them lynched day 3.

Yep. We could actually use that to our advantage saying something like, "okay, we've paid for not listening to adam. let's go lynch now"

I think one of us (not Chad because he's still playing the 'poor newb' gambit) should nominate meathe as soon as possible with "can we please vote meathe now?"

Also important: we need to emphasize to the townspeople that lynching an illuminati is a GOOD thing because Illuminati are bad guys in this version of the game.

Deb is the "wild card" and thus dangerous. we perhaps should start sowing the old seeds of suspicion in her direction.

Meathe is undoubtedly the Cop. agree? disagree? either way, he needs to go.

One point I want to stress:
The impression I get from Mango's recap of Day 2 is that the Illuminati imprisonment failed. That means they have no more imprisonment option. They get one per game. That helps us. If we lynch ANYone other than a mobster today, we win. How?
1. We lynch a non-mobster. We kill another tonight. Numbers left are 4 mob and 3 town. We win.
2. We lynch a non-mobster. Doctor protects our kill. We blitz the vote early on Day 4. Since there's four of us, we get the tie-breaker first. 4 mob 4 town. We win no matter what they vote. (just to clear this up for Chad since this is his first game: with 6 players or less, you need a simple majority vote to win, e.g. 4 to 2. With 7 or more players left, ties are handled by a tie breaker in which the first person to reach the most votes gets lynched. So with 8 players left, if 4 vote for A and 4 vote for B but A was voted 4 times first, A gets lynched.)

Either scenario, we win. So we have to pull out all the stops this turn to nail a townie or illuminati.

Okay, so the town is a little split here. Couple of strategies we could employ:

1. emphasize that the townies MUST lynch a mobster this turn or else they lose (which is true). The fake argument: Therefore we need to lynch Meathe at once because he's the most likely candidate. Once we nail Meathe, we'll take down Mono and BG and WK. (emphasize voting pattern)
2. i don't want to alienate deb right now. she's voting our way. let's keep her on our side. if we accuse her, she might jump her vote (again). if she hedges again, however, we nail her ass with meathe. Bacon's another easy one. He nominated Shutter to be lynched and voted for him both days.
3. pressure WK to vote against meathe like she did last time. Perhaps say, "I'm tempted to vote against you, WK. Maybe if you vote against Meathe I'll be convinced you're not a mafia."
4. Perhaps the four of us should each suggest four different voting patterns. For example, I might suggest Meathe, BG and Mal. Chad might go Meathe, Deb, WK. Mono might go Meathe, BG and McAwesome. Mal might go Meathe, WK and Chad. The important thing is Meathe is the central cog in ALL our theories.
5. Mono can still claim cop if the votes don't go our way. I suggest claiming Meathe and McAwesome are guilty and Adam is innocent. Don't back down. If the real cop counterclaims, nail him to the wall. Don't budge.
6. Very important: remember, none of us (except mono) voted for a townie. we voted jeckles and meathe. jeckles was illuminati. Illuminati = bad guy.

i agree. hit Bacon. we should also try to get things moving so as not to risk losing one of us.

there are two of our votes left and WK. we need to make sure WK votes Meathe. if WK votes Meathe, then Mono should vote Dave and Chad should perhaps go against Bacon(?).

Chad should not give BG any credence whatsoever. If WK votes Meathe, Chad could go with the crowd again (newb gambit) and pile on Meathe. That's the safest for us.

I see your point though. A newb move might be to vote the guy who voted for you.

How about Chad saying something about how Meathe changes his vote too much?

Mono could conceivably vote against me without doing any harm. Or say you want Meathe and want to focus on taking me or Bacon out next turn. Keep the confusion level up.

Hey, just in case the doctor saves out hit, let's agree now on who to blitz on Day 4. I say Deb. No real reason. Remember, if the doctor protects our hit, ALL of us need to 'vote to lynch' the same person as fast as possible.

I've updated my spreadsheet, and it looks like I'm safe, so long as there aren't too many vote switchers. Right now Meathe has 4 (Deb, Mal, Dave, WK), I have 2 (Adam, Meathe), and Chad has 1 (Bacon). Chad and I are the only ones left to vote.

I'm tempted to vote for Mal, just to throw things off. The only problem is that I've been posting as if I'm the cop, and if anyone is unsure of if I am the cop, they'll pile on Mal and we're screwed.

Thoughts on players:[indent]Adam: I don't think he's the Cop. He's changed his vote way too much. Unless it's a ploy on his part to keep us guessing. Day 2 would fit that pattern, because he would have either investigated a Townie or Mal, both of whom would have come back innocent, so he was taking a shot in the dark that day.
Bacon: I doubt he's the cop, too. He voted for Shutter both days. Again, unless he made two bad investigation choices in a row.
Chad: I could vote for him, using the reasoning that he's playing the "I'm new to this game" defense to shield himself. The funny thing is that it's true.
Deb: Again, not the cop, and again barring bad investigation decisions.
Malfouka: It'd be a safer vote, because she's only received one vote, and that was recinded. If I do this, I'll need to express that I'm not too sure of it, and that I'm starting to think that Meathe is Mafia. That way, if the votes look like they'll start swaying in favor of lynching her, I can switch off w/o tipping the scales too much.
Dave: I don't think I could justify a vote for Dave without pretty much outright claiming I'm the Cop.
Meathe: Could be Cop. Switched vote from me Day 2 to save himself, even though it wasn't necessary, as he owned the tiebreaker and wouldn't have been lynched.
mono: yeah, like I'm going to vote to lynch myself.
WK: Not cop. Voting pattern isn't there to support it, and surely she would have made a good investigation by now.[/indent]

After agonizing over all this info, here's my decision/suggestion:

Chad: Vote for Meathe
me: Vote for damnit, I can't decide.
Take out a hit on Bacon. The actual hit should involve a frying pan in some way.
