Sorry for that.
I haven't done much to LEX over the past few days, but I thought I'd break out the camera and take a few snaps.
Fun geek bits:
All trig functions are calculated from transcendentals. I didn't use a lookup table for sine/cosine/tangent.
Everything is run from a 60mhz processors with 32kb of ram
Sonar is good up to 20 feet
Walking is still bad. He falls down lots. But we're working on that.
3D accelerometers will be installed for balance and tied in to a lot of of inverse kinematic calculations.
I'm still working on putting in lasers.
Camera and face recognition is in the 'to do' list. But the wiring for it is in place. Waiting...
Oh. Pictures.

meathe, does Lex plan a Matrix-style extermination of the human race? or an Ellisonian "I have no mouth and I must scream"/Terminator-style one?

I'm leaving that up to him. He does have more than a few phrases down pat, though...

Law 2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the first law
Law 3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the first or second law

Please put down your wepon. You have 20 seconds to comply.
I'm sorry, Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.
Hasta la vista, baby.
Exterminate!

Incidentlly, any other suggestions are welcome. I'm sure I missed something.

You need to do it the NASA way and charge it to the taxpayers.

Oh, sorry, it's not NASA, it's Canada.
