Before we get down to the business of betrayal, suspicion, and murder, a few things need to be said:

1. If anyone who signed up for the game did not receive a PM from me, please contact me immediately.

2. In this edition of Misfit Mafia, there may or may not be more than two Mafia members (if you have at least three functioning brain cell and neuron connections left, the exact number will become immediately apparent. If not, well, you'll still probably be okay).

2a. in this game there is a Godfather. The Godfather not only makes the absolute decision on who to whack, but she/he is always found "innocent" when investigated by the Cop.

3. No-one may PM, email, or in anyway (damn, I used all my good stuff in the PM's, i.e. semaphore, smoke signals, etc..) contact any other player regarding the game. No contact outside of the official game thread (and/or in the secret Mob and Illuminati forums) is allowed. This means, no PM'd threats, no information given or asked for, no lusty late-night telephone calls for the purpose of game discussion (I, however, welcome any and almost all lusty late-night telephone calls outside of the topic of this game), no nothing.

4. The game leader (in this case, me) does not exist in Misfitopia, the town, and by extension, the playing of the game. Think of me as a way cooler and better looking, yet invisible, Dungeon Master. Anything PM'd between you and I (i.e. cop investigations) may not be posted in the game thread and/or in any of the two secret forums. I do not exist (except, as stated above, for lusty non-game related late night telephone calls). To sum it up, the game leader is not a player and can not be regarded as such.

5. Once again, HERE ARE THE RULES OF THE GAME

In Misfitopia, it was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom (for one or two townsfolk), it was the age of foolishness (for most). Overall, it was not the age of reason and soon was about to become the season of hell.

As malfouka was stumbling out of the local library-slash-bar (in Misfitopia, priorities are in the right place) into the night, the quiet was at once destroyed by the howl of tires on wet asphalt. The black sedan rounded the corner and in a detonation of gunfire, one of the best minds of her generation was gunned down. As she lay dying, her thought was, “Oh fuck! My body feels electric!” Yes, the moment was at its crises.

The next morning, townsfolk, as the sun, were also rising. The body was found. In her hand was a copy of Danielle Steele’s Family Album.

Like remembrances of things past, the Mafia were back. *****

Well said. I mean, I come a little late to the party and there are only a handful of votes? Look, we all know Cheese Man is the most likely not to post in this game. I say cut the dead weight now. It's a safe first move while we weed out the mobsters.
