2. Hot Topic is poser central. There's always a mainstream element co-opting alternative tastes to make a buck. That's why it's so important to make intelligent buying decisions.
3. I have to recode all the pages and do some redesigning and change the submission form to direct people to this forum. The submission form I have now is inundating me with real and spammy submissions. I have been unable to sift through them. Unfortunately, I think directing people to this forum to have them sign up may significantly taper the submission rate.

The forum, on the other hand, is less a reflection of me than the people who post here. My only real responsibility is keeping out spam and handling the technical side of the software updates (which is not such a good role for me).

About a week ago, my girlfriend cajoled me into starting a MySpace page. My first order of business (after adding people I actually know, several rocking bands and the lovely Rissah) was to seek out the mighty McAwesome and make him my friend. So far, I have been utterly ignored and cold shouldered. OMG!!! WTF!!!

2. That is a long and tragic story that I will eventually detail on Dave McAwesome dot com.
3. Until recently, I thought he was gay. Turns out he's married to a woman he dated before U2 broke the MC5's Guinness World's Record for "best band with the shortest name."
