Mango is claiming to be the Cop, yet he willfully broke the rules. If so, he's a Dirty Cop, and shouldn't be trusted.

Mango is also sneaky enough to throw us off his scent by outing someone else as the werewolf.

My vote stays with Mango. For now.

Jeckles: Show everyone where I've been aggressive in my posts here.

Dave: I was online for quite a while last night reinstalling software on my computer. To keep from getting too bored, I would come here now and then. I also had to restart the system a couple times and the browser multiple times. I never log out of any of the forums to which I belong, I simply navigate away from them. Because I login at work and at home, it may appear that I'm logging in & out here. Misfitopia is the only forum that doesn't keep me logged in both at work and at home.

I'd also like to remind everyone that, after game #1, the mob forums were opened for all to see. In those forums, if you recall, there was a discussion about whether it was ethical that the current Mafioso (in that case, Mal and Mango) had been PM'ing each other outside of the forum/game. If the forum is still open, go see for yourself.

If Mango is NOT the cop, then we stick to lynching Monogodo and continue ferreting out the other lycan.

Looks like protection for mango. I'm not so sure mango is the cop. Wouldn't it make sense that the werewolves would be trying to protect each other???

Ok, so what's going on here?

Is everyone too busy to think about who might be a werewolf?

Or am I the only non-werewolf this time around?

Are Adam and I the only ones who are concerned by Mango's cheating? No one else seems to be commenting on it at all.

Dave seems to think that the mere presence of both myself and Fat Tony at the same time is evidence of us being the same person. By that line of reasoning, Dave is Fat Tony, as he was online at the same time, too. He also seems to want to keep Mango safe and to lynch Adam. What better way to sew the seeds of doubt amongst us townsfolk than to pretend to be the Cop and a townsfolk and make it look like two non-werewolves are actually werewolves. You get the paranoid townsfolk to lynch one of their own, and you take out the other with a hit in the night, increasing the odds that you'll win.

After reading through the posts (for about the 4th or 5th time), I've got it narrowed down to three possibilities: WK, Jeckles, & Dave. There's also a chance it's Mango.

• Dave voted for me for no good reason. He uses flawed logic & reasoning to select me for lynching, yet he's able to produce a doctoral dissertation-quality response to my claim that my own logic and reasoning was flawed. Seems kinda fishy to me.
  
• WebKittyn voted for me initially because "Mango didn't strike her as a werewolf" after I voted for him. Then she changes her vote to Jeckles and bitches about being accused of logging off (just like in the last game, when she was Sith). Then she agrees with Jeckles claim that I'm being aggressive, when in all prior posts to that point, I hadn't even come close to being aggressive, and changes her vote back to me. I know if I were a Werewolf, I'd be changing my vote all the time, just to throw off everyone.
  
• Jeckles, on the other hand, has been extremely aggressive throughout this entire thread. He even says, "And Fuck You Mono... I told you I wasn't a Werewolf!" when the only post I'd made in response to him was my initial post in this thread which was a link to, and quote of, the rules for the Werewolf game. And I hadn't mentioned his name at all. In fact, prior to that point, the only people who had mentioned his name or voted for him were Deb and Adam. I'm thinking he was worried about getting lynched before he had a chance to kill off a townsperson. In another post he says that WK and I "...are doing a nice job of tag teaming me." To that point, I hadn't mentioned his name at all.

When did I do all that? First, I did not bitch about being accused of logging off, I think you're inventing facts. I said I didn't log off and I said that Jabba's juju thing was a clever and dirty way to make me look like I made the same mistake twice. That aint bitching, amigo. I also don't recall agreeing with Jeckles saying you were being aggressive. I believe I said Jeckles makes a compelling point without going into what point I agreed with.

Seems to me like you're trying to throw a whole lot of 'stuff' into the pot to confuse people and make them change votes. That's werewolf material to me.

response to monogodo: I was actually defending your argument. WK said it didn't hold up. You agreed with her. Then I supported your original claim that it WAS, in fact, a valid argument.

You're still Fat Tony. When everyone got their PMs from Malfouka, you jumped in with both feet as Monogodo and Fat Tony. I had been logged in waiting patiently like Magnum P.I. for such a possibility. At that sweet, sweet moment I WAS Magnum P.I. "Booya!" I screamed. One down, one to go. All that caffeine paid off.

re: cheating. Since you asked, I have to agree with you that Mango PMing as a Townsperson is bad. We should all chastise him and I should probably change his sig to: "I love Kirk Cameron movies" as punishment. I will respect whatever Malfouka wishes to do in this case. Personally, considering this is only game 3 and we are still working out some kinks, I would favor leniency, but I do understand your frustration...you being a werewolf and all and about to lose this game in a swift and unrelenting fashion. (sorry for the trash talk, but I'm getting slaughtered in the fantasy sports...ol' McA needs a victory here, people)

My recommendation to the Town:
*We lynch Monogodo.
*Vigilante (whether he be me or someone else) knocks off Adam.
*The Doctor (whether he be me or someone else) protects Mango, whom I believe to be the Cop (Adam and Monogodo are just upset that THEY didn't get to pose as cops before Mango outed himself. I believe the werewolves had him targeted for the kill as soon as he hinted at his position. I blew their plan by drawing Mango out.). If after the deaths of Monogodo and Adam the werewolves still roam, I'll vote for myself for the next lynching. Hell, the Cop should investigate ME if there's such uncertainty. Add that to the list. That way you'll immediately know what's what.

For the safety of the Town.
For a quick and decisive end to the Werewolf menace.
For a one-day victory.
For history.

I use "bitches" to mean "complain". I could just as easily said that Jeckles was bitching about me accusing him of being a werewolf. Maybe you weren't actually complaining about it, maybe it was poor word choice on my part, it doesn't change the fact that you switched your vote and voted for the lynching of Jeckles.

You digested Jeckles' post down to that one sentence. You stated that you agree with him that I had been very aggressive, when up to that point, I had not been aggressive at all. You also would be agreeing that either Mango or myself would have thought to use 'juju' against you. Did you possibly think that it could have been Jeckles himself using it against you? Especially since at that point you were voting to lynch him. If you truly didn't agree with him that I was being aggressive, why didn't you crop that part of his post out, like you cropped out the other portions of his post? All you had to do was highlight the phrase and replace it with ... and your post would have been clear.

All I'm throwing into the pot is the observation of people's actions. I'm also defending myself, since I'm the one up for lynching tonight. If you were in my position, what would you do? Would you sit idly by, waiting for the townsfolk to come take you to the town square and string you up? Hell, no, you wouldn't. You'd look for all the evidence you could to prove that others were guilty. That's what I'm doing, showing everyone here that you and Jeckles, and to a certain extent Dave and Mango are all behaving more werewolf-esqe than I am.
