Once again, the Jets came up small in a big game, and their playoff hopes are slim. If they squeak through, Ryan will give his "it's all about the playoffs" speech and will continue to ignore the team's glaring holes. It is all about the playoffs. But it's also about having a team that can be successful in the playoffs--this is not that team. The regular season record is a strong indicator of a team's relative strength, and the Jets' 8-7 record, which includes only one win against a team with a winning record (the 8-7 Cowboys in week 1), tells you all you need to know.

The Giants are built to destroy the Cowboys. Top 5 or 6 passing attack against a weak secondary. Good pass rush. Banged up Romo. Romo's history in playoff games (and this is a playoff game, for all intents and purposes). I'd pick the Giants, over 46.

Raiders play Chargers, who are eliminated. Broncos play the Chiefs. Raiders need a win and Denver loss to get the division and a playoff berth (and to end the Tebow luck madness). I love that the schedules end on division games. Division rivalries are the strongest, and they ensure fewer no-shows for the last week of the regular season. Rooting for the Raiders, but I don't know how the Chargers will approach this game. If it's last week's team, then Oakland wins.

What a disaster the Jets game was. Sanchez has been throwing behind receivers all season, and it really bit him this game when they got turned into picks. The telecast didn't know what was going on with Santonio Holmes in the 4th quarter, and then reports started coming in, and Rex played dumb at the press conference. Good times.
