Nice to see Dustin Keller part of the game plan for a change. It was like they forgot him last year. Thank you Tony Romo for sucking so bad and handing the Jets the chance to win a pretty lackluster game. With so many Cowboy CBs out, I really couldn't figure out the Jets offensive attack. It looked like they were going over the middle rather than the corners. I'm just relieved they got the win. Sure it's an out of conference game, but it's also a home game. There was a radio guy (I think on ESPN) who said the Jets could afford to lose this one. I wanted to punch the radio. It's a home game. Shut up, radio guy. (Who knows less about sports than ESPN radio announcers? Seriously, who?)

I caught most of the Atlanta/Chicago game until it became a rout. Not sure what to make of Atlanta.

Great game last Thursday night. Too bad my dvr cut off with a couple minutes left. Goddamn user error.

This season couldn't come soon enough. I'm so sick of ignoring baseball.

Michael Irvin had a good line for once. Talking about the likelihood the Colts will give up 40-point losses this season without having any young QB to at least get some experience: "wasted beat downs." Most of my football watching career has been watching my favorite team take wasted beat downs. Note: regular, utility beat downs are still pretty sucky.

Deion thinks Cam Newton has pizazz. I don't know what that means, but it should be a character stat just like constitution, wisdom and charisma. "I have an 18 pizazz." "Roll for armor save....failed. You've successfully pizazzed that orc." *cue tap dance number*

I had to rewind and go back to Deion. Cam Newton has:
Poise 15
Pizazz 18
Charisma 16
Look 14
Talent 16
It Factor 17

Overall, he rolled a great half-gnome paladin-quarterback dual class. D&D has changed a lot in 4th edition I guess.

I don't follow college football in way and I never have, but my landlord is the center for BYU and I watched him play on ESPN these last few weekends. I don't have any real point here, I've just never seen anyone I know pretty well on TV like that. Let alone playing football.
