Ever use Scroogle? It anonymizes your search results. Because, you know, it's nobody's business and that kind of tracking should be opt-in.
Anyway, Google's new interface change may have screwed Scroogle. It seems to be working now, so maybe it's all blown over? The Register reminds us of Google's recent disdain for privacy, which, in my opinion, is part of our basic human rights.
They also list another 'privacy first' search engine: ixquick.com
I'll try ixquick tomorrow. Let me know how you find it.
