Tell ya what, I'll generate a distribution of teams amongst Dave, c8ivin, mango and myself, post it and we can adjust as needed.

I've got no problem with starting w/ round 2, leaving the first picks as is, with Dave getting Syracuse and Chris getting Kentucky, and assigning Duke to Mango, so he's got a #1 pick, along with Ohio State.

I'll use Excel's random number generator each round to assign teams, and I'll rank each team by their record with in their seed number, so for example, round 3 would rank as New Mexico, Baylor, Pittsburgh, Georgetown, in that order. So whomever gets the #1 pick that round gets NM, #2 gets Baylor, #3 gets Pitt, & #4 gets Georgetown.

If this is amenable to everyone, I'll do it.

Or Chris' idea of us all banging it out (that sounds wrong) at a specific time this AM is cool, too.

Random pick order generation is complete. The way I decided ties was whomever had the higher pick in the previous round between or among the ties received the better pick in the tie.

It ended up thusly:

Since I seem to be the only responder to most recent posts, guess having Mono do it up will have to do. I'm not too thrilled about Mango getting both the Buckeyes & Duke especially since I'm before him on the way back. If you wanna give me Duke and either West Virginia or Kansas State, that'll work!! Kinda takes some of the excitement away, but that's the way things turned out this go-round. Just drop down to a layman-level and tell me WHAT FRICKIN TEAMS I HAVE - lol

I've got the pics done, and had to make some adjustments to the pick order I generated above, to avoid a player having both teams in a game. The way I decided that varied depending on who had the higher pick before.

I actually like my default teams especially G-town, who I think (much to the chagrin of you Buckeye fans) can take out Ohio State. Mango would've NEVER seen DUKE considering OSU was his initial pick, but...thanks for your efforts Mono. Now, we got something else to root for besides the generic brackets. Whether your comment was made before or after the fact, your prophecy is PROFOUND. Since 1985, when the heavy underdog WILDCATS from VILLANOVA beat G-town, I've always despised the Hoyas. So, I make it a point to either bet on them or advance them in the tourney to GUARANTEE they stumble and sure enough....Just wished I could've seen SPIKE LEE'S face (John Thompson SR's as well) after his favorite(?) college team collapsed under the pressure.

Up until the major upset of Kansas, I was giving Mango the inside track, but...now the door's been opened for the Buckeyes. Mono's got them plus one of many Cinderellas advancing to the Sweet 16 in St Marys, who I think can take out both Baylor and yes, even Duke to get to the Final Four!! Dave's got an ultra-LIVE dog in the Huskies, who again have a shot at the Final Four, imo. Man, it's been a while, but this year is incredibly laced with upsets, WOW!!! Can't even count CAL out of the mix. Duke better NOT be looking ahead or they'll find themselves getting MAULED by the Golden Bears!! I am elated that the west-coast teams are making some BIG noise in the tournament. Wouldn't it be something else if CAL matched up with WAS again in the FINAL FOUR, not as far-fetched as it might seem....
