I know, I missed 212 last weekend. Apparently no one noticed.
First: Happy Birthday, Malfouka!
We're about to head out to eat dinner, then head over to the Korean spa for a body scrub & some relaxation.
I don't want to do anything this weekend except relax. Luckily the only thing we have to do is vacuum the loft and do the dishes & some laundry.
What are your plans?

Thanks! To make me feel even older, was at a bar the other night talking to this fellow. I knew he was younger than I but didn't realise how much younger until I brought up Roy Orbison and he asked me who he was...
Friday: cooked a traditional roast for my Sweetie. It turned out pretty good, he claimed. I'm slowly learning how to cook meat--very difficult if you can't/won't taste as you go. I've mastered the fowl. Did a barbecued chicken on the grill (last weekend), a stuffed game hen, and numerous other bird-parts cooked in varieties of ways. Haven't tried pork yet (besides bacon and sausage) though there's a big ol' piece of dead porcine material in the fridge waiting. Beef is the most difficult. I've ruined many a filet mignon.
Watched/listened to guitar-god porn in the living room. He's so fucking good I want to impale myself on his guitar.
In a way, the 80's are kinda similar to modern-day times.----Severin

Friday: Had dinner at Red Lobster. It took so long that we decided we were to tired to go to the Spa, so we went home instead.
Saturday: Woke up early got a haircut & showered. Had breakfast at Einstein Brothers. Drove to Arlington to attend the yearly Reptile Show so we could get stuff for the tarantulas. Bought 3 bricks of coconut substrate, a new water dish, 48 crickets, glass/acrylic cleaner, and a P. pederseni (Ghost Ornamental Tarantula). Stopped at Whataburger for a late lunch on the way home. Housed the new tarantula & rehoused a couple of the others. Went & had sex while we waited for the coconut bricks to expand. Took a 1hr nap after. Finished re-housing the rest of the spiders. Had Bison brats & a baked potato for dinner.
Sunday: Woke up & started cleaning the loft. I vacuumed while Cynthia cleaned off the island. Got a call from Cynthia's best friend, Michael. Invited Michael & his boyfriend, Brad, over for drinks later. Finished cleaning the place, showered, & I drove to Newflower Market for more beer & some Western Burger patties & BBQ chips. Picked up a 12-pack of Coke from 7-Eleven on the way home. Started drinking around 4pm, ended up on the pool deck with about 20 other residents. Drank more & talked with various people. I had some BBQ brisket & two shots of Jaeger, as well as at least 6 beers, possibly more, I don't remember. I also don't remember what time we went to bed.
All in all it was a great weekend, even if we didn't get to go to the spa.
