People are ticked off at Yahoo for spoiling the main event World Series of Poker title. I understand they're pissed, but who told them to click the link? ESPN never broadcasts poker live, because people only watch when they get to see the hole cards (and you can't broadcast that live). Yahoo is just reporting the news. And it's not even Yahoo reporting it. It's the Associated Press.

Whatever.

On another note, if they're going to do this kind of coverage, I don't know why they don't just do a 30-minute tape delay. Then they can still show the hole cards AND do the shorter, edited version the following night (or whenever).

Wow. After wasting a couple of hours of my life watching ESPN's coverage, I can't see why anyone was upset. It was pretty boring. They condensed it so much there was no rhythm to the game at all.
