I complain a lot about internet technology, but when it does something right, I should be equally lauding. If you send a message via Gmail that contains a tracking number (from UPS, for example), it also appears in the sidebar of the message thread for convenience. I haven't tried this in Yahoo or MSN, and I know it's been a feature in Gmail for a little while, but I never paused to think how truly wonderful and convenient it is.
