Apparently the fact that Charles Darwin even lived is too much for conservative Christians.

There might be something else that's kiboshing this film. Controversial stuff like this gets shown in limited runs in NYC all the time. They're not going to get wide release for it, but if they can't find any distributor, there's probably another reason. This reads like a PR-planted story.

Also, in the vein of Kent Brockman...

It's cuz (as it seems all men during that time) he was in love with his cousin or aunt or something and married them. I think it was his aunt...in the movie version I saw she was horrid looking too.

I will only show movies that have Super Heroes or Gratuitous Violence. Or Better yet... both.

Yes. They can be broken down into tree types: Chick flicks, moody dramas and Documentaries filled with half truths.

Of course, I'm married and have enough moody drama in my own life, so I have no need for the first two. And if I want half truths, I go to the internet.

He believed that inbreeding would make his family genes stronger. Obviously, he was wrong there, but I would like to point out that Stephen Hawking was wrong about black holes for years, yet he's still considered a genius.
