Now I remember why I don't get my news from the local media: Their site sucks.
I decided to check an article about AT&T and the Google Apps for the iPhone. When the page finished loading, I found most of it was taken up by navigation menus, a search box, and blank space. On my 1024 x 768 screen, the actual visible part of the article only took up about 420 x 320 pixels. That's less than 25% of the screen devoted to the whole reason for the page being there in the first place. Add to that the fact that it was in the lower left corner.
Is it any wonder newspapers are struggling?
