Do you have any experience with Bootcamp, CrossOver, or VMware Fusion? My companion is interested in gaming on his MacBook (Pro). In my opinion, I'd just buy a Digital Storm (in addition to, not as a substitute for, the Mac) and not mess with trying to run Windows based games.

It seems to run as well as windows on a PC did.
I wasn't happy with VMWare or Crossover, they seemed slower to me, but I ran it a while ago, and things may have changed with the new OS.

I read about a million reviews and they all say it's much better than both XP and Vista, and to some extent catching up with OS X. Cant wait for the official release to try it out, although it will cost a lot (that's why they invented piracy afterall

Work just upgraded my computer.
I had been using a 4+ year-old Dell Optiplex 745 running XP Pro. The most current software, other than browsers, was Office 2007. I'd been using InDesign 2.0 (pre-Creative Suite), Photoshop 7, & Illustrator 8.
They've upgraded me to a brand-new Dell Optiplex 790 running Windows 7, Office 2010, and Adobe Design Standard CS5.5.
They've also ordered a 23" monitor for me.
So far I like it well enough. Woulda rather had a Mac, but couldn't convince them to do it.

The only windows I use are basement windows. The people inside are less likely to see you peeping.

Please do. Your constant peeping into my bathroom is disrupting my bowel movements.
