We should have our own IRC channal. I set one up in case you guys actually agree, its called (naturally) #misfitopia . If you don't know what IRC is, look it up, because I'm too lazy to post help links. Trust me, there are thousands. And for those reading this that aren't really misfits, remember, that if you don join the channal, its unofficial, so don't complain on misfitopia if you get banned or kicked or some of the other mean stuff I can do to you. Oh, and if Dave and Chad ever join, they'll be ops (if they want) so don't expressly blame me.

If enough people want something like this, say so and I'll set up phpfreechat or phpopenchat or a shoutbox or something. My reservations are: (1) not enough people will use it (2) it's security hell (3) it's more work for me to keep the code updated.

I certainly encourage you to open a 'chat' thread where people can post short blurbs without fear of getting modded for spam. I've seen that work in other forums.
