Upgraded the work laptop to it today, & it seemed ok, although I didn't really get the chance to surf much. About to update the MacBook now.

I downloaded it onto my nephew's computer, seems like more of the same to me personally.

Quick assessment:

Pages seem to render much quicker than before.

That's the only functional difference I've noticed as of yet.

The New Tab button doesn't affect me, because I've always double-clicked on the tab bar for a new tab. So I guess it saves me a click, but I have to hit a specific target.

I haven't noticed a faster render time. I do feel IE8 is slower, but that's just my 'feel' which may be biased and certainly isn't quantifiable.

I never had any problems viewing heavy javascript sites with 3.0, but 3.5 is supposed to be even better.

I was hoping for a faster boot up time for the software, but that also depends on so many other factors too.

Overall, I'm happy with it and see no reason to use another browser (other than to check browser compliance of websites, behind which IE8 still lags).

Strangely enough, it's misfitopia.com that I most notice the faster rendering time.

That's good. This forum uses a ton of javascript and javascript libraries. The new version will too.

Also, gmail seems to be running more smoother in 3.5. Maybe it's just me.

For a minute I thought there was a clitoris app and Bacon had it and thought it was awesome. Then I reread it. Now I'm sad.

It is much, much better in comparison with 3.0, but still does not work perfectly on Linux. The only browser that I've ever loved is Opera, but they broke that as well. All that in mind, Firefox is OK.

I'm using Firefox Minefield right meow. I'm pretty sure the build I'm using is designed for testing with Windows 7 which is all I can use at the moment.

I've got no fucking idea what version I'm running anymore.

Firefox updated just a couple of days ago and I thought it was 3.5, but maybe I was wrong because it's all supposed to update automatically and this thread started at the beginning of July.

There have been a couple updates since 3.5 I think.
